"BAM" by Maggi Payne
The sounds in this work are generated exclusively by a Moog IIIp analog synthesizer, with impulse responses captured from the Berkeley Art Museum used at the beginning, on the high frequency beat frequencies in the third section, and throughout the final section. Mixed to eight discrete channels and to stereo, this work sculpts the perceived space, continually contracting, expanding, and warping it.

Softer Spaces and BAM were composed using data from Acoustic Deconstruction of 2626 Bancroft Way, copyright Jacqueline Kiyomi Gordon and Zackery Belanger 2016.
